About Us
We are Calgary-based multimedia journalists at Mount Royal University. This website is a product of a fourth-year capstone class in the Journalism and Digital Media program.
Throughout this project we had the opportunity to connect with older adults and understand their challenges and relationships to technology, specifically smart wearable devices. As technology continues to advance, the older adult population is often left behind. We wanted to learn more about how older adults are engaging with, benefiting from and facing challenges with smart wearables.
Thank you to David, Evelyn and Patricia for sharing your stories, inviting us into your world and sharing the ways you navigate life through your devices.
